Bill Would Strip Federal Protection for Wolves in Wyoming, Great Lakes.
A food preservative known to cause liver and kidney damage has not yet been banned by the FDA. Thankfully, General Mills has removed this harmful chemical from its products. Praise the company for its efforts to help protect Americans by providing healthier, safer products.

Research chimps were promised to be released more than a year ago, but little action has been done to send them to sanctuaries. Stop these animals’ suffering by demanding that they be freed immediately.

PORTLAND, Ore. (Reuters) – Scientists from two U.S. Pacific Northwest laboratories plan to conduct tests of unusual precipitation that fell across the region over the weekend in hopes of pinpointing the origins of so-called “milky rain” that has mystified residents, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials at both the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the Benton Clean Air Agency, both in Washington state, said they had collected samples of the rain, which left a powdery residue on cars across a wide swath of the two states.
Scientists at the Richland lab said they believe the rain may have carried volcanic ash from an erupting volcano in Japan, while the clean air agency said its staffers believe dust from central Oregon was the culprit.
The National Weather Service has said it believes the powdery rain was most likely a byproduct of dust storms hundreds of miles away in Nevada…

Amport Food Dates are no longer sold at Wal-Mart?
https://sachemspeaks.wordpress.com/2015/02/05/amport-food-dates/
About the poor workmanship of this company by not cleaning up the shells from their chopped Dates?
http://www.amportfoods.com/choppeddates.html
Well the pieces are not shells but pieces of plastic machineries from their factory in Pakistan!
And here is my proof.
We bought out the last of the boxes from Wal-Mart thinking that,
“What’s a few shell fragments just be careful”.
How clean are these dates?
Each package now has chunks of plastic!
We have been just throwing them away only now we see much bigger pieces and that they are not chunks of shells!
Wal-Mart was right in discontinue this product only I wish that we were told why?
Normally they discontinue if they…

Dear President and Mrs. Obama:
Next year is the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service (NPS) Organic Act, which led to the Park Service’s creation, established “to conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wild life therein and to provide for the enjoyment of the same in such manner and by such means as will leave them unimpaired for the enjoyment of future generations.” As a consequence, protecting the nation’s landscape legacy — from our National Parks to local neighborhood parks — has become an important part of our shared heritage.
As President you have used your executive power 13 times employing the Antiquities Act of 1906 to designate National Monuments and, as the Chicago Tribune recently reported, you are poised to do so again on February 19 when you will name the Pullman district in Chicago’s Far South Side as a National Monument…

What a beautiful planet…
What a rotten day…
What a golden moment…
What a disaster…
What a wonderful life…
What’s the use?
What am I doing here and who are all these strange people?
I wish you’d make up my mind, for me.
I can’t decide if I like it or not…
Walk with me and I will show you the sky
Walk with me and I will lead the way
Walk with me.
Walk with me because I hate to be alone….
Paper or plastic…
Have you ever really felt the sun on your face, I mean, felt it poke into each pore, make you eyebrows burn, make your eyelids turn pink and your mouth to turn up at the corners?
Have you ever picked a flower and committed murder?
Didn’t the roots look like fingers trying to reach and keep hold to the earth…

Here we go again. The wolf hating trifecta of politicians, ranchers and hunters, are attempting to undermine the courts once again, by scheming to pass a bill through Congress that would overturn the Great Lakes and Wyoming wolf relisting. These people are relentless in their hatred of wolves.
“Several members of Congress are preparing legislation to take gray wolves in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and Wyoming off the endangered list in an attempt to undo court decisions that have blocked the states from allowing wolf hunting and trapping for sport and predator control.
U.S. Rep. Reid Ribble, R-Wis., is leading the effort, his office confirmed Tuesday. Co-sponsors include U.S. Reps. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., Dan Benishek, R-Mich., and Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo.”…..AP
They’re unhappy with the court ruling that relisted Great Lakes wolves recently. This behavior mimics the egregious action taken against wolves in Montana…

An ill-timed game hunt can be disastrous for high-profile figures a little out of touch with public opinion.
It has become a little bit more difficult for European big game hunters to return home with their loot after the EU introduced new measures restricting the import of hunting trophies. Anyone hoping to pack a pelt, head, horn or tusk of an African lion, polar bear, African elephant, Southern white rhinoceros, hippopotamus or Argali sheep in their luggage, must present an import permit stating…

See what the buzz is all about.
There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. —Soren Kierkegaard. "...truth is true even if nobody believes it, and falsehood is false even if everybody believes it. That is why truth does not yield to opinion, fashion, numbers, office, or sincerity--it is simply true and that is the end of it" - Os Guinness, Time for Truth, pg.39. “He that takes truth for his guide, and duty for his end, may safely trust to God’s providence to lead him aright.” - Blaise Pascal. "There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily" – George Washington letter to Edmund Randolph — 1795. We live in a “post-truth” world. According to the dictionary, “post-truth” means, “relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.” Simply put, we now live in a culture that seems to value experience and emotion more than truth. Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. "The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it." – George Orwell “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard
