(CNS News) – TheOpen Society Foundations, which were founded by billionaire left-wing activist George Soros, donated millions of dollars to various organizations, such as New Virginia Majority and America’s Voice, to advocate for mass immigration and amnesty for illegal aliens, reported Breitbart News.
Ron Kovach, press secretary for the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) told Breitbart, “Soros and his shadow organizations have worked hand in hand with the Biden administration since Biden took office to not only shield, but encourage more illegal aliens to flock to the United States.”
“Soros has had a hand in almost every move the Biden administration has made to topple our immigration system,” said Kovach, noting that Soros has helped to “secure visas for those already illegally in the country through misinterpretations of Trump’s VOICE initiative,” and “assisting those attempting to avoid deportations.”
According to the report, the New Virginia Majority received $100,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations. In its policy agenda, the New Virginia Majority says it supports “driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants” and ending “local collaboration with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).”
America’s Voice received nearly $1.6 million from Soros’ Open Society Foundation, according to Breitbart. This “immigration reform” group wants a “direct, fair, and inclusive road to citizenship for immigrants in the U.S. without papers.” According to FAIR, at least 15.5 million illegal aliens now reside in the United States.

Other groups pushing amnesty or pathway to citizenship for illegals in one form or another include United We Dream, which received $700,000 in grants from the Open Society Foundations, reported Breitbart.
Also, the Unidos US Action fund got $300,000; National Immigration Reform received $1 million; Black Alliance for Just Immigration, $600,000; and the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, $2.3 million.
George Soros, 92, has an estimated net worth of $8.6 billion. He made his money through several hedge funds and a major bet on the 1992 currency crisis in Britain. His website describes him as “one of history’s most successful financiers.” He supports many liberal/left causes through his Open Society Foundations, to which he has donated more than $32 billion over the years.
According to MRC Business, which monitors liberal media bias in business news, Soros has devoted his “life to constructing a leftist political legacy rarely, if ever, equaled. He has worked to reshape the U.S. and the world with his nebulous vision of an ‘open society’ through billions in funding to universities, media, politicians and left-wing groups.”
