On August 31st I went into the hospital for emergency surgery for appendicitis… I’m home and need 7-weeks to completely recover.

Because of a new EU law, I may have to close down this blog, or at the very least stop posting and probably delete all posts containing a link, which means practically all posts.
Needless to say, I’m extremely displeased.
I’m not even sure I can continue blogging at all. Even if I only use my WordPress.org blog and post ’ordininary’ blog posts, it may be too complicated to bother. Can I even post photos I’ve taken with my own phone? At this point, nothing is certain. My sister and I may be able to hand code our home pages/blogs like in the old days, and my sister is great at making graphics but again, I’m not sure what is allowed or not.
It may not be strictly necessary for me to post links to newspaper articles or even reblog other people’s posts, even though I think it’s important…

Well I had my cataract surgery today and I tried to read your comments, that’s not working out, so I’m going to give everybody 🌟 and by the weekend I should be able to see 20/20 so I’ll be able to chat with you 😎

I like the old admin secure pages, I do not like the new stats page! I feel like we are being forced to use the new design! I DO NOT understand why WordPress cannot stop making changes! It’s VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!
Takes the fun out of blogging if I constantly have to figure out a way around the new changes!
I had several bed bound friends that have all but quit blogging because they cannot keep up or figure out how to respond to comments.
I’m techie so this of course it just a pain for me but for those who rely on WP to reach out to others it’s cruel to do to them! I realize “NEW AND INNOVATIVE” is the wave of the future, but the elderly/sick/not techie…

Hi everyone, I want to apologize to all my followers who are so faithful and to all my new followers…this caught me off guard…September 2014~I started having trouble with my right eye..blurred vision, flashes and double vision…my eye doctor said I needed to get laser surgery for a torn retina and my eye surgeon told me I also had Macular Pucker, that was causing my central blind spot which made it very difficult reading and performing tasks that required detail vision…I had the laser surgery and when I went back to have my eye checked the scar tissue on my eye was rapidly growing so I needed emergency eye surgery …all went well until I started putting eye drops in and I was allergic to the antibiotic which cause my whole right side of my face to swell up all the way down to my neck… was not a pretty sight and I could barely open my eye.. things are going well and I am seeing well enough to read but not for long I still get some double vision and a headache around my eye, the doctor said it would take 6 months to a year to heal and I will get cataracts which will need removed… 😦
