High winds have caused problems with our internet, we keep losing our connection.
Making it very difficult to post anything or read anyone’s blog, leave a like or comment, when I can make a comment it disappears,not sure if it’s the connection or it’s landing in spam. I do have some scheduled post, not sure if they’ll go out or when they will show up!
2024 started out with high winds and extreme cold and needing a new roof!šØļø š¬ļø š„¶

Hi folks,
For the past two weeks I’ve been slowly losing the ability to look at anyone’s blog, first I could not hit the like button and after fighting with that, I slowly got that working. Now this week jetpack has shut me out from seeing anyone’s blog, it makes me sign in, I put my password in and tells me I have the wrong password, so I changed the password, then it wants me to sign in, two seconds after I picked out a new password, it tells me I have the wrong password, so I go into WordPress and try to get things straightened out that way and I think I have everything worked out and I’m right back to square one, now today WordPress tells me I have the wrong email address, now I know I’m old and can forget things, especially after I’ve changed my password a good 20 times, at the point I’m not sure what my password is, but I do know my Gmail address.
If you never hear from me again, it’s because I’ve been buried under all my passwords, went crazy and moved to the Bahamas. šļø
Does anyone have any problem with the like button and what did you do to correct the problem?
For the past couple of weeks, Iāve been having trouble with the like button staying on after I click it. The text below it shows that I and the others liked the post, but my picture doesnāt add to the line and show. Also, if I return to the post, it doesnāt show I liked it. Itās becoming so frustrating, as I donāt know if bloggers are getting my likes or not.
Is anyone else having trouble with like buttons or know a remedy? I wrote my question to the community, as I want it to work correctly for me. Believe me folks, Iām out there liking as often as Iām able. Itās been 6 and a half weeks now since the tragedy of my sonās sudden death. Kyle was my only child and its agony missing him so much. Because of a new EU law, I may have to close down this blog, or at the very least stop posting and probably delete all posts containing a link, which means practically all posts.
Needless to say, Iām extremely displeased.
Iām not even sure I can continue blogging at all. Ā Ā Even if I only use my WordPress.org blog and post āordininaryā blog posts, it may be too complicated to bother. Can I even post photos Iāve taken with my own phone? At this point, nothing is certain. My sister and I may be able to hand code our home pages/blogs like in the old days, and my sister is great at making graphics but again, Iām not sure what is allowed or not.
It may not be strictly necessary for me to post links to newspaper articles or even reblog Ā other peopleās posts, even though I think itās importantā¦

Well I had my cataract surgery today and I tried to read your comments, that’s not working out, so I’m going to give everybody š and by the weekend I should be able to see 20/20 so I’llĀ be able to chat with you Ā š

I like the old admin secure pages, I do not like the new stats page! I feel like we are being forced to use the new design! I DO NOT understand why WordPress cannot stop making changes! Itās VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!
Takes the fun out of blogging if I constantly have to figure out a way around the new changes!
I had several bed bound friends that have all but quit blogging because they cannot keep up or figure out how to respond to comments.

Hi everyone, I want to apologize to all my followers who are so faithful and to all my new followers…this caught me off guard…September Ā 2014~I started having trouble with my right eye..blurred vision, flashes and double vision…my eye doctor said I needed to get laser surgery for a torn retina and my eye surgeon told me I also had Macular Pucker, that was causing my central blind spot which made it very difficult reading and performing tasks that required detail vision…I had the laser surgery and when I went back to have my eye checked the scar tissue on my eye was rapidly growing so I needed emergency eye surgery …all went well until I started putting eye drops in and I was allergic to the antibiotic which cause my whole right side of my face to swell up all the way down to Ā my neck… was Ā not a Ā pretty sight and I could barely open my eye.. things are going well and I am seeing well enough to read but not for long I still get some double vision and a headache around my eye, the doctor said it would take 6 months to a year to heal and I will get cataracts which will needĀ removed… š¦
