Saudi Aramco plans to build a $10-billion refining and petrochemical complex in China over the next three years, taking advantage of the country’s growing demand for energy.
The complex will have a capacity of 300,000 barrels of crude daily, Aramco said in a news release. The Saudi major will supply 201,000 barrels per day to the facility.
The project will be carried out in partnership between Aramco and two Chinese companies. Construction works should begin in the second half of this year, with the project scheduled for completion in 2026.
“This important project will support China’s growing demand across fuel and chemical products. It also represents a major milestone in our ongoing downstream expansion strategy in China and the wider region, which is an increasingly significant driver of global petrochemical demand,” said Aramco’s head of downstream, Mohammed Al Qahtani.

Thanks so much for the reblogs! And, thanks for this article, the Prager article, the touching hair shaving video and the rest.
We gave Saudi a lot of our military technology, didn’t we? I guess they will be joining the Shanghai Cooperation Organization with China, Russia, Iran, India, etc., soon. If Saudi and Iran have really cuddled up, as opposed to Saudi wanting an embassy to spy on them, then we are in deep trouble. I think that Saudi Aramco still owns a big refinery in Texas and Louisiana, though they may have sold the Louisiana one. I’m alarmed at both Austria and Switzerland seeming to stay on good terms with Iran, despite the Iranian drones in use in Ukraine.
During World War II, the UK and France both had their empires to provide natural resources and troops and they still needed our help. I don’t know if we’ve enough allies this time around. The USSR and the UK together invaded Iran during WWII to protect its oil from the Germans. And, I think that’s why Churchill worked with the Soviets instead of fighting them and the Nazis, he feared the Soviet oil fields would fall in Nazi hands and needed the oil. Under Churchill the British fleet converted from coal, which the UK had, to oil, which they didn’t. He actually worked for an oil company at one time.
Now’s a good time to say our prayers.

Always a pleasure, you do wonderful work! She’s the second young female that I seen that had to have her head shaved, that one was done by her boyfriend and he did the same thing and shaved his head, I wonder why women in their mid 20s to early 30s are getting cancer!?
We’re always helping other countries with military equipment, just like we’re helping Ukraine, and we won’t have anything left when we need it and we won’t have hardly anyone to help us, because everyone thinks where the superpower and we haven’t been that way since Obama got into office!!
Yes we need to pray and pray hard for peace. 🙏😇🙏🍀
