“I am Woman” was released as a single in 1972, 50 years ago. This is the original “I Am Woman” and not to be confused with the Emmy Meli song.
“In a 2003 interview in Australia’s Sunday Magazine (published with the Sunday Herald Sun and Sunday Telegraph),[3] she explained: “I couldn’t find any songs that said what I thought being woman was about. I thought about all these strong women in my family who had gotten through the Depression and world wars and drunken, abusive husbands. But there was nothing in music that reflected that. The only songs were ‘I Feel Pretty’ or that dreadful song ‘Born A Woman’. (The 1966 hit by Sandy Posey had observed that if you’re born a woman “you’re born to be stepped on, lied to, cheated on and treated like dirt. I’m glad it happened that way”.) These…
President Joe Biden claimed on Thursday that “sanctions never deter” when pressed by a reporter on why his sanctions failed to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine.
Biden also claimed that he never said that sanctions would deter Putin, even though his administration, including his own vice president, have stated in the past that “the purpose of the sanctions has always been and continues to be deterrence.”
“Sir, deterrence didn’t work,” a reporter said. “What makes you think Vladimir Putin will alter course based on the action you’ve taken today?”
“Let’s get something straight. Do you remember, if you covered me from the very beginning, I did not say that, in fact, the sanctions would deter him,” Biden claimed. “Sanctions never deter. You keep talking about that. Sanctions never deter. The maintenance of sanctions, the maintenance of sanctions, the increasing the pain, and the demonstration why I asked for this NATO meeting today is to be sure that after a month, we will sustain what we’re doing, not just next month, the following month, but for the remainder of this entire year. That’s what will stop him.”
“You believe the actions today will have an impact on making Russia change course in Ukraine?” the reporter pressed.
“That’s not what I said. You’re playing a game with me,” Biden claimed. “I know. The answer is no. I think what happens is we have to demonstrate — the purpose, the single most important thing is for us to stay unified, and the world continue to focus on what a brute this guy is. And all the innocent people’s lives that are being lost and ruined, and what’s going on. That’s the important thing. But look, if you’re Putin, and you think that the Europe is going to crack in a month, or six weeks, or two months. Why not, they can take anything for another month. But we have to demonstrate. The reason I asked for the meeting, we have to stay fully, totally, thoroughly united.”

JOE BIDEN, PRESIDENT: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. You have one final question, right. Hey, wait, hold on a second, please. I was supposed to be an hour ago at the European Union meeting, and to speak … now I’m thanking you. Someone I haven’t called on before. You. Who are you?
REPORTER: Sir, deterrence didn’t work. What makes you think Vladimir Putin will alter course based on the action you’ve taken today?

They intentionally let go of the dogs and started cheering as the animals mauled the screeching cat, authorities said.
At one point, one of the men repeatedly shouted “Get him” and “Good boy” before grabbing hold of the leashes.
The dogs appeared to still have hold of Buddy as the cat’s owner rushed out of the home to intervene, the grim footage showed. Harry?s Razors capitulated a year ago and pulled advertising from the DailyWire, and then attacked them and their audience. But Jeremy Boreing, CEO of DailyWire, didn?t apologize, and didn?t change his views; instead he set up his own razor company and is launching it now with 100%-testosterone advertising.

When CEO?s cave in to the bullies, there must be a cost.
Corporate America wants it both ways ? they want conservatives to buy their goods and services? but they also want to virtue signal to the woke mob and their 23-year-old employees by publicly repudiating those same conservative customers.
Make no mistake, they know our politics before they advertise with us. That?s why they advertise with us! We reach a large audience that they want…
The apocalyptic talk about climate change is nothing more than a diversion tactic by the government, the radical Left, and their mainstream press. The many laws, the trillions in federal appropriations and tax credits, and the unworkable proposals to address climate change will not slow the rise of the oceans or heal the planet.
Lobbying for more climate regulation is to enhance the power of the authoritarian state, not protect the environment.
The radical Left has the world obsessing over whether we have 10, 20 or 50 years before the eve of destruction. The hysteria gives the government the excuse it needs for more controls over the energy we use, the products we purchase, the homes we live in, the food we eat, and since the pandemic when we can leave our homes. However, the data supporting the climate studies are rarely made public so that…
