This jolly pup has cerebellar hypoplasia – where they lose their coordination and balance.. but can live very long, happy, pain-free lives with this condition.🐾💕❄

I have a couple of shares in a thoroughbred horse that we learned a couple of months ago has something very similar. He will never race, but is happy grazing with a buddy, a stable mate!

That’s a shame, but I’m glad that he is being taken care of and happy!

I had another, Howboutdemapples, a 2 year old filly. She ran 5 races from Aug. to date. She was in the money 2nd – 4th in all but one. They never ran her in a mile or more races, even after the jockey’s said she win in the longer ones. So, a 3 weeks ago she was placed in a claiming race, finished 3rd, and low and behold she got claimed for $50,000. So I no longer have my shares in her. I got attached to this one, saw her live and saw her run in her debut. The new owner and trainer I believe know she will do better running the longer races, they are already training her in that direction. Being claimed probably best for her, …………… I just won’t get the updates on her. I was heartbroken when she was claimed. I do have another male horse that is being trained, he turns 2 next month……. Tufnel is his name. Hopefully he wins quickly and avoids claiming races.
