Wow! This Is What SpaceX’s Starlink Satellites Look Like in the Night Sky | Space

You have never seen a night sky sight quite like this.

It’s been one day since SpaceX launched its first 60 starlink internet satellites into orbit, and sky watching sleuth has already spotted them soaring across the night sky.

Neverlands-based satellite tracker Marco Langbroek stunned space fans tonight (May 24) with this jaw-dropping video of dozens of Starlink satellite soaring overhead.

  1. For someone who has never seen the ISS before or spent any time with a telescope, I can understand how this image appears incredible. I’m really worried about what will happen when all 12,000 of them are in the sky, though. I worry that in a few years, we will grow tired of streaking satellites and miss seeing the actual stars.

    • I agree with you. It’s fascinating and magical, but I also worry about all the junk that’s in the sky and what’s going to happen when they decide to fall back to Earth.
