Truth will never go away no matter how hard one might wish. Going beyond the MSM idealogical opinion/bias and their low information tabloid reality show news with a distractional superficial focus on entertainment, sensationalism, emotionalism and activist reporting – this blogs goal is to, in some small way, put a plug in the broken dam of truth and save as many as possible from the consequences—temporal and eternal. Our county animal shelter was recently filled to capacity, so they ran a Free-Weekend campaign, advertising on TV news. I just heard this morning that almost 40 adult dogs were adopted!!

If people stopped buying the animals as some sort of status symbol or fashion trend, then the shelters wouldn’t have so many stray and abandoned animals in their care. Impulse buying also doesn’t help, in that people see a cute puppy, think it would be great and don’t consider what the pet will need in the following months and years. #AdoptDontShop
