Biologists say half of all species could be extinct by end of century

Nwo Report

Scientists at Vatican conference are searching for a solution to the manmade ‘major extinction event’

Two rhinos.

One in five species on Earth now faces extinction, and that will rise to 50% by the end of the century unless urgent action is taken. That is the stark view of the world’s leading biologists, ecologists and economists who will gather on Monday to determine the social and economic changes needed to save the planet’s biosphere.

“The living fabric of the world is slipping through our fingers without our showing much sign of caring,” say the organisers of the Biological Extinction conference held at the Vatican this week.

Threatened creatures such as the tiger or rhino may make occasional headlines, but little attention is paid to the eradication of most other life forms, they argue. But as the conference will hear, these animals and plants provide us with our food and medicine. They purify…

JCPenney’s store closures could push hundreds of dying shopping malls over the edge

Nwo Report

dead mall

A tidal wave of store closures is about to hit the US, experts say, and the result could be catastrophic for hundreds of lower-tier shopping malls.

JCPenney announced Friday that it would close up to 140 stores in the next couple of months.

That follows decisions by Macy’s and Sears to close a collective 218 stores in the first half of the year. Other mall-based stores including American Apparel, The Limited, Bebe, BCBG, and Payless have also recently announced that they are shutting down all or most of their stores.

The rate of closures is higher than in previous years, signaling a new reality for the retail industry that consists of far fewer stores and, ultimately, fewer shopping malls.

“The signal sent by this [JCPenney] announcement: retailers are going to continue aggressively culling stores to appease Wall Street,” said Ryan McCullough, a senior economist for the commercial real-estate…

Poaching drives 80 percent decline in elephants in key preserve: More than 25,000 elephants slain over a decade in Gabon park

Forest elephant populations in one of Central Africa’s largest sanctuaries have declined between 78% and 81% because of poaching, a new study finds. More than 25,000 elephants in Gabon’s Minkébé National Park may have been killed for their ivory between 2004 and 2014. With nearly half of Central Africa’s forest elephants thought to live in Gabon, the loss of elephants from the park is a considerable setback for the preservation of the species.

Processed Food is Dying: Nestlé Takes Worst Hit in 20 Years as Public Opinion Shifts

Emails Show Flint Government Bought Clean Water For Themselves While ...

February 23, 2017

This “Q4” as the corporate world calls it, Swiss processed food giant Nestlé took a harder hit than they have in 20 years.

Even mainstream business articles are sporting headlines such as “Nestlé Drops Targets as Consumer Giants Struggle,” from the Wall Street Journal.

According to Investopedia:

“Switzerland-based global food and drink giant Nestlé SA (NSRGY) posted its most recent full-year 2016 and fourth-quarter earnings report on Thursday. The maker of KitKats, Nescafe and Purina pet food failed to meet the consensus estimates, posting its slowest organic sales growth in 20 years.

In 2016, Nestlé’s net profit came in at 8.53 billion Swiss francs ($8.53 billion) down 6.6% from 9.1 billion over the same period last year and falling short of the Street’s forecasted 9.59 billion.”

Could it be that consumer giants are actually struggling because of a shift…

Studies Reveal That Deep Sea Animals Are Full Of Harmful Pollutants

Nwo Report

Jessica Murray at

The chemical pollution was found in animals 6 miles below sea level.

Recent studies have revealed that crustaceans that live 10 kilometers (6 miles) below sea level are carrying high levels of harmful industrial chemicals from human-caused pollution. Though there have been many missions to the deepest parts of the oceans in the past, most of the Mariana and Kermadec trenches, where these polluted creatures were found, have never been visited by any humans, or even machines. In contrast to the expected excitement of exploring parts of the ocean’s deepest trenches that many would expect, researchers were thoroughly shocked by what they found.

Dr. Alan Jamieson from the University of Aberdeen conducted his research by collecting amphipod crustaceans from 7,227-10,250 meters (4.5-6.4 miles) deep into the ocean, with the use of traps that were set by deep-sea landers. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) were found in every sample tested, across three different species…

California moves to pre-empt Trump on environment, endangered species

Needling President Donald Trump and bracing for a rollback of Obama-era environmental protections, Democrats in the nation’s most populous state are launching a preemptive strike.

California lawmakers are expected Thursday to propose legislation to fold existing federal air, water and endangered species standards into state law, sources said, enshrining pre-Trump levels of protection in California regardless of any reversal at the federal level.

Not Just Standing Rock: Protesters Just Arrested for Blocking Pipeline in Florida

Nwo Report

Carey Wedler at

As protesters at the site of the Dakota Access Pipeline make their last stand against police crackdowns ordered by North Dakota’s governor to evacuate their campsites, protesters in Florida are also continuing their fight against another contentious pipeline.

Two protesters, Nicolas Segal-Wright, 26, and Karrie Kay Ford, 29, were arrested Wednesday after placing themselves 250-feet into a segment of the Sabal Trail Transmission pipeline, a joint project between Spectra Energy Corp., NextEra Energy Inc., and Duke Energy. According to ClickOrlando, a local Florida outlet, Marion County Sheriff’s office said Segal-Wright and Ford used a “device to lock each other up making it harder for law enforcement to get to them.”

We’re staying here,” Ford said in a video recorded from inside the pipeline. “We are locking down. We’re not going anywhere.”

Ford claimed police aggressively attempted to remove her…

DAPL Owner ETP Stock Plummets after Militarized Attack on Water Protectors; Journalist Says DAPL Not Done Drilling Under River; Are Claims that Pipeline Near Finished a Hoax to Boost Stock Prices?

Mining Awareness +

On February 22, 2017, at 930 am ET, Energy Transfer Partners (ETP) stock was worth $38.83 per share on the New York Stock Exchange. By noon on February 23rd, it had fallen to $37.53 – a 3.5% drop. As of Friday, it closed at $37.71.

Owner of the Dakota Access Pipeline, Energy Transfer Partners appears to have shot themselves in the foot, so to speak. The violent police attacks upon water protectors opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline appear to have negatively impacted their stock value. People find these abuses repulsive, and apparently increasingly don’t want to invest in this. Dakota Access may be misleading people regarding how far along they are. If true, this is probably in an attempt to boost their stock value.

Furthermore, according to Mary Schimke at Bakken dot com, Feb.24, 2017, the pipeline is not for US use, but for export: “Shale production will be…

Bed of Dan River is Poisoned by Coal Ash for 70 Miles: Turtles Emerging & Dying

GarryRogers Nature Conservation

GR:  Trump has removed protection from streams. He is probably unaware that the problem below is typical of many situations where mine wastes threaten or actually poison our streams. However, ignorance is not a satisfactory excuse. Can Trump believers continue to support actions that carelessly threaten people and wildlife across the country? Trump promised to remove regulations that restrict business and reduce employment. But did anyone expect he would do so blindly without regard for the long-term consequences? Poisoning people so mining companies can continue profitable operations is not the right way to go.

It’s worth noting that the Environmental Protection Agency forced Duke Energy to assess the coal ash problem. Without the EPA, the company would have simply ignored the problem and moved on. If it’s jobs you want, why not ask the EPA to force Duke Energy and other stream polluters to clean up their wastes? That…

Madrigal-Alcaraz Enrique Kurthland peacefully evacuated one of the No Dakota Access Pipeline camps to stay at the Standing Rock Prairie Knights Casino Hotel, so as not to see the police brutality at the camps. Then the police taser his friend and relative – a Native American Veteran- in the casino hotel for no reason. The man had his hands up as is clear in these screenshots and even more clear in the videos:

Police Use Numbers and Brute Force Against Individuals at North Dakota Standing Rock Camp, Injuring Them; Why Did Gov Scott Walker Send Wisconsin Troops as Backup?

Clearly these thugs, half in riot gear with helmets, are not trained in policing but rather seem think it’s a football game and tackled independent media who did not have helmets. If it takes so many police to take down one unarmed individual – and in the process they injured the person (Eric Poemz) and possibly broke Eric’s hip, even though there was thick mud – then they are not properly trained as law enforcement officials

The unknown speaker in the Eric Poemz video, apparently an American Indian, asks a policeman to put down his badge, says something like I see you’ve got a heart and soul and look like a very prayerful man… be honorable and set down your badge right now in front of 6,100 people (watching livestream) and then the police charged. Did You Know Obama’s Immigration Raids Closed Restaurants BEFORE the Election?

What Did You Say?

immigration arrests

The liberal mainstream media is having a field day reporting about the few illegal aliens being arrested for deportation. They talk about how terrible Trump is by breaking up families and threatening businesses. Every day, the news is filled with images and interviews with protesters and illegals. The reports are given in such a way as to vilify President Donald Trump and make him to be some unfeeling, cold-hearted bigoted hater.enemedia

Last week, the same liberal mainstream media made a spectacle of a nationwide liberal protest called ‘Day Without Immigrants.’It’s a clear example of how biased the liberal news is because nothing Trump has done even suggests that he’s against legal immigrants.

Thousands of American citizens, legal and illegal immigrants walked off their jobs and out of classrooms all across the nation in protest against Trump…

“When I get over on the other side, I shall use my influence to have the human race drowned again, and this time drowned good, no omissions, no ark.” — Mark Twain, “On the Damned Human Race”

There will be no God’s mandate for an ark this time. Man is taking the rest of life out with him. Steve Bannon and Donald Trump are giving what Chris Hedges calls a “Christianized fascist” push to planetary extinction and climate chaos.

Man’s dominion turned domination of other animals is a Christian perversion. One can choose what one wants from the Bible. My hunter neighbor tells me, “There are animal sacrifices in the Bible — we are supposed to kill them.”

Most religions do make man the center of the universe.

Driving into Madison early on a Saturday morning, I listened to…
