But it is not too late to stop him from impulsively blowing up the planet.

With the stroke of a pen, President Barack Obama could take our nuclear missiles off high alert, making sure that President Trump could not launch them rashly. If he doesn’t do this, we will all regret it.

It’s like wishing you had locked the door before you left the house. Or made sure the gun wasn’t loaded before you put it on the shelf. Or wishing you hadn’t stored gasoline quite so close to the furnace.

President Obama should take our nuclear missiles off hair-trigger alert before Donald Trump gets control of them…

US promised US$3bn towards fund, which was part of historic Paris agreement, but so far has transferred only $500m, Guardian, Michael Slezak, 21 Dec 16, More than 100 climate and development organisations, along with 70,000 people, have called on Barack Obama to help secure the future of the Paris agreement by transferring the remaining $2.5bn committed by the US.

The Green Climate Fund was a key aspect of the historic Paris agreement signed in 2015, which aims to keep global warming “well below” 2C and aspires to keep warming to 1.5C.

The fund, established in 2010, is financed by wealthy countries and used to assist developing countries with adaptation and mitigation. It was widely seen as a key measure to bring both rich and poor countries to the negotiating table.

The US pledged $3bn towards the fund, making up nearly a third of the $10.3bn pledged in…

War-Torn Yemen Is Letting Its Zoo Animals Starve to Death

The 265 animals in Yemen’s Taiz Zoo, including rare leopards, haven’t been fed for days. The government is rejecting proposals to save them.

War births refugees. Streaming out of blasted-out cities, civilians are forced to flee their homes, sometimes their families, away from the bombs, into the unknown.

What happens when you can’t leave? That’s the story of abandoned zoos in wartime. It’s the story unfolding now for the animals in Yemen’s Taiz Zoological Gardens, neglected in the cross fire of the country’s civil war. Here 28 Arabian leopards, critically endangered in the wild, haven’t eaten in six days

The Epic Battle Against Invasive Lionfish

Christopher J. Gervais

First reported near Florida in the 1980s, lionfish have since spread throughout southeastern U.S. waters, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea, taking over coasts from New York to Brazil. These brightly-striped ornamental fish, native to the Indo-Pacific, were believed to have been let loose in U.S. waters by the aquarium trade. The problem: with insatiable appetites (they’ve been found to eat over 70 fish/invertebrate species) these invasive creatures have since wreaked havoc on coral reefs and fisheries, eating both other species’ prey and grazers that clean algae from reefs. Plus, no predators have stepped in to gobble up the strange species, allowing the fish to reproduce relatively unchecked.

Still, scientists and environmentally-minded entrepreneurs alike have been taking action against ballooning lionfish populations, creating and testing everything from underwater robots to fish traps loaded with special recognition software, all designed to drastically lower the lionfish headcount. “It’s the inverse of…

Here’s Why You Should STOP Using Aluminum Foil IMMEDIATELY

Nwo Report

luminum induces neurotoxicity by altering mitochondria of brain cells, which contributes directly to aging and the rise of degenerative diseases and metabolic issues. Chronic aluminum toxicity greatly reduces osteoblast population and inhibits bone mineralization, resulting in osteoporosis.

Source: Vandita

Wrapping your food in aluminum foil to keep it warm, fresh, and safe or using aluminum foil for freezing, baking, and grilling is reported as highly likely in damaging your health. If you wrap oven-roasted meat, fish and poultry during cooking to retain moisture and reduce shrinkage and drying; if you use aluminum foil to wrap leftovers — these 4 reasons should be enough to convince you to quit using the neurotoxin heavy metal right away, and/or try safer healthier alternatives…

Chrome 55 Update Allows You to Download Websites, Movies, and Audio

Nwo Report

Chrome 55Chrome is working on pushing out a new update for their Android app (not beta or dev version, but full version) and will be rolling it out rather quickly. For those that are ‘inside’ users, you will be treated with four key alterations. The first alteration is the easier downloading of music, videos, and even full web pages. This is a ‘convince’ step, as we can view our contents offline at a later time desired. Another feature is that Chrome will highlight the misspelled words, giving some improvements to the contextual search UI engine.

I’m not sure about you, but I do a lot of offline web reading for research purposes. Thanks to our friends at Google, they are striving to make offline viewing and reading much easier, allowing to save the content directly to your device’s storage. You can now easily download any random article, as well as any multimedia content directly with…

Puppy Sleeps In Nativity Scene Becoming A Christmas Miracle

In 2008, the town of Circuma in Brazil set up there  nativity scene.

During the holiday season, we find ourselves looking for small miracles to get us in the Christmas spirit. It doesn’t have to be anything big — just something to remind us and reassure us that the spirit of the season is with us, especially when we may be feeling lonely.
One Christmas, a nativity scene went up. There was Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. But this one year, there was an extra addition to the scene. It was something people didn’t know they needed, but once they saw it, it encouraged them to be more compassionate and loving during Christmas and every other day of the year.
When people gathered around, they noticed something sleeping in the manger.

Right next to the baby Jesus was a sleeping German Shepherd puppy.

But every visitor was overcome with joy and love when they saw him snuggled up.

Wishing you all joy and love this holiday season….
