how can we get the coffee shops & fast food(lets go vegan) places to do this?

If they are privately owned business it’s easy to approach them to make the switch, the big franchise will take a little bit more doing talking to the manager is a start and getting the main office address, phone number and contacting them. So if anyone out there has any ideas or knows anyone that can help please leave a comment, let’s have a team effort to get rid of plastic…. 🐢

I don’t really know Stacy Ann, they’re like little bulldozers and are close to the ground so I’m assuming as they walk along it must flip up and in a strange way, lines up with their nose they keep walking and it gets pushed in there nose. But you’re right it hurts to even watch!

A while ago I watched the turtle / nostril straw removal video in it’s entirety. Pretty agonising viewing, but at least the op was ultimately successful!

Yes,that was a hard watch… now every time I see a straw or plastic fork., I think of the poor Turtles.
