                                                                            REST IN PEACE SWEET LILY

New Jersey – Jon and Tracey via their Facebook page “The Daily Squeal” has announced that Lily, the pony mare that was brought to the New Holland Sales Stable for auction and later adopted by the couple died over the weekend.

‘It is with the deepest sadness that we share with you that dearest, sweetest Lily passed away yesterday. She went peacefully surrounded by so many that loved her. We stroked her hair and told her over and over again how loved and special she was. She was under her favorite tree on soft grass. She will live on in our hearts and in our fight to protect, love and cherish all animals.’

Lily was lame, underfed and covered with paint when she arrived in Lancaster County. Following a trial in New Holland, 65-year-old Philip Price Jr. of Rhode Island, was convicted of 5 summary counts regarding his handling of Lily.

Hartman was ordered to pay $3,056 in fines and $10,178 in restitution for Lily’s recovery-care costs.

Price is prohibited from doing future business at New Holland Sales Stables, the judge ordered.

Justice for Shark Killed for Photo Opportunity

Tourists and lifeguards then used the shark as a prop and began to take photos with it. Some were holding the shark down as others sat around it. One man (pictured) held the dying creature's tail fin in the air as he posed for a photo.

A group of tourists and employees allegedly dragged a shark out of the ocean and posed for pictures with the creature’s lifeless body. Demand that these cruel and inhumane individuals be punished for murdering such a precious creature.

URGENT: It’s getting hotter! Stop heat wave deaths!
Protect Mustangs

Jun 20, 2016 — You can make a difference for AMERICA’s captive wild horses and burros–trapped in the BLM pens–with no access to shade before the next heat wave hits! Below are 3 action items for the beginning of this week:

1.) Email 5 people and ask them to please sign and share this urgent petition for shade and shelter: https://www.change.org/p/bring-emergency-shelter-and-shade-to-captive-wild-horses-and-burros Then share it on social media.

2.) Send the petition to your voice in Congress. Ask your 2 senators and your representative to intervene to bring shade to the mustangs and burros. Their contact information is here: http://www.contactingthecongress.org/

3.) Write a letter to the editor at your local paper explaining that federally protected wild horses and burros–held captive in pens–need access to shade. Let them know that in the wild, our national treasures can move to cooler zones but not in the captive pens. You can refer the public to this petition for more information.

Thank you for taking action. Together we can turn this around!

With gratitude,
Anne

Mining Awareness +

A very important video and only 3 min 48 sec long – less than 4 minutes.

Unfortunately what Stephen Comley says is relevant for all (or almost all) countries where there is nuclear power.

Republican Presidential Candidate, Stephen Comley, has an almost thirty year track record of working for nuclear safety:
Spurred by a letter from then Nuclear Regulatory Commissioner’s Executive Director, Victor Stello, declaring the most vulnerable of our citizens would be left behind in the event of nuclear disaster Stephen B. Comley, Sr. brought the fight to the door of United States’ Presidents, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and the national press.

For twenty-eight-years, Mr. Comley worked outside the political beltway to bring change to an industry fueled by…
