Animal Advocates Call For Action Against Vet Who Allegedly Killed Cat With Bow And Arrow

Emilio Cogliani

Texas veterinarian Kristen Lindsey quickly lost her job after posting a photo of herself holding a cat that appears to have been shot with an arrow. The picture caused massive public outcry last week, but authorities are still looking into the incident.

“Right now this case is under investigation,” Austin County Sheriff Jack Brandes told The Huffington Post on Monday afternoon. “That takes a little time.”

Animal advocates are now calling for action against the vet, who for the past two years worked at the Washington Animal Clinic in Brenham.

The caption on the woman’s Facebook post, which has since been taken down, read: “My first bow kill, lol. The only good feral tomcat is one with an arrow through it’s head! Vet of the year award … Gladly accepted.”

It’s thought the cat was a 6-year-old tabby named Tiger, who belonged to a neighbor and went missing Wednesday.

ARLIN REPORT...................walking this path together

Michelle Manhart, an Air Force Veteran was arrested saving the flag from desecration at a university protest.  After she retrieved the flag, the protesters begged for it back.   Manhart was not going to give the flag up, not even to the cops for them to continue walking on it.

Manhart was taken to the ground, cuffed and the flag wrestled away from the Vet.   Manhart was taken away, and the university has banned her from the campus.

I know all the political correctness, that the protesters have a right to express themselves under freedom of speech and that includes disrespecting our flag.  Michelle Manhart was expressing herself, and her statement came out stronger and she was not afraid to stand alone.

I’ll take Michelle Manhart on my side anytime.

Monsanto and Others Caught Paying Internet ‘Trolls’ to Attack Activists

Monsanto and Others Caught Paying Internet ‘Trolls’ to Attack ActivistsSource:Anthony Gucciardi | InfoWars |

Have you ever seen a post, comment, or reply that absolutely reeked of behind-the-scenes compensation by corporations like Monsanto? In the growing age of internet activism, and the expansion of social media as a tool to spread the word on real issues, paid internet trolling is becoming a new career path.

Now, in case you’re not familiar with what ‘trolling’ really is, I think Wikipedia has a great definition. According to Wikipedia, an internet troll is:

“…a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.“

Video: Cop Shoots at Dog in Crowded Area; “You Almost Shot Me”

Nwo Report

“Are you serious? There are kids out here”

A shocking video out of Brooklyn, New York shows a police officer shooting at a dog in a crowded area as bystanders scream out in panic.

Source: Paul Joseph Watson |

The incident began when cops attempted to make an arrest at an address in Brownsville. The suspect wasn’t home, but the officers’ insistence on entering the property led to the dog getting loose.

The dog enthusiastically jumps up on a couple of officers but at no point tries to attack anyone. Seconds later, a cop fires his weapon at point blank range. The bullet misses and ricochets off the sidewalk.

The crowd immediately erupts in condemnation, with one man screaming, “No, no you wrong. You wrong. You’re dead *expletive* wrong for that,” before yelling, “Are you serious? There are kids out here.”

Eyewitness Jason Holley told WABC-TV that the shot almost…

10 reasons why you should consume more cucumbers

The Citizen Media

(NaturalNews) Considered a veggie but technically a fruit related to melons, the cucumber is often an afterthought or garnish for most. Too bad. It’s not only a tasty addition to many foods and very hydrating with it’s 90-plus percent water content; cucumbers are packed with a load of health-benefiting nutrients too.

Non-organic cucumbers are heavily sprayed according to the Environmental Working Group. And they are coated for shipping with synthetic waxes. It’s a no-brainer to opt for organic cucumbers that are not sprayed and coated with synthetic petroleum-based waxes.

As with most produce, the skin contains a lot of nutrients. If desired, the organic wax can be washed off organic cucumbers. But non-organic cucumber skins should be peeled off before using. Cucumbers are the fourth most cultivated plant in the world. But you may want to grow our own.

Sliced cucumbers go well in just about any salad, are great…

Monday Meeting — Firefighters Help Free Two Bear Cubs

Soul Gatherings

A cabin owner in Milltown, Wis. was alerted to two cubs in distress last weekend when she heard some desperate cries in a wooded area nearby. When she arrived to the source of the sound, she noticed a little snout poking out from a hole in a tree trunk. Not knowing what kind of creature it was, or if it was truly stuck, she decided to come back and check the next day — and the following morning the snout was still there.

She called authorities out to help and two wardens from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources were dispatched to the tree where they discovered that it contained a pair of bear cubs who appear to have crawled into the hole, but were unable to crawl out.

“In 15 years of being a warden I haven’t seen a bears caught in a tree before. I’ve seen lots of…
