Animal Defenders International ~ Take Action Please!

Great Cats of the "World"

Via –Animal Defenders International

Sadly, the bill to ban wild animals in British circuses was blocked by Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell at its second reading today. This is the second time that Mr Rosindell has blocked the bill, sabotaging efforts to bring the suffering of circus animals finally to an end. The Romford MP has links to the circus industry, and has previously written a brochure foreword for the now disbanded Great British Circus, whose shocking elephant abuse was exposed by ADI.

Despite interventions by Mr Rosindell, the circus bill still provides the best opportunity to secure the ban ahead of the general election. We therefore need you to keep up the pressure – PLEASE GET ACTIVE FOR THE ANIMALS!

Sign and share our petition calling on the Prime Minister to back to the bill http://bit.ly/1zwRPKr

Please do not patronize roadside zoos or phony sanctuaries.

Great Cats of the "World"

Tigers in America is a fantastic organization dedicated to tigers in desperate need of rescue in the US. They’ve helped fund some of our rescues here at The Wildcat Sanctuary. Please visit their website and definitely read this article about what to look out for in places you visit. “Many that claim to be sanctuaries are breeders, exhibitors or roadside zoos…If you find yourself in a place that breeds, buys, sells, features cubs (especially white ones), lets you handle them, has cats perform, has cramped enclosures and is short staffed, you are in a roadside zoo at best and a breeding farm at worst.” Tony the Truck Stop Tiger is a prime example 😦

Pant Crapping Draft Dodger and Convicted Poacher Ted Nugent Advocates Poaching of Wolves

Our Wisconsin, Our Wildlife

Screen Shot 2014-10-18 at 1.48.52 PM

I will let the words of this washed up draft dodging musician turned racist rightwing blowhard and convicted poacher speak for themselves:

Ted Nugent

WISCONSIN Spirit BloodBrothers the Weisner family trapped this stunning wolf. Though no state has issued an adeqaute number of wolf tags, believe when I tell you that certain WE THE PEOPLE in touch caring Americans are killing MANY MANY more wolves than the numbnut corrupt dishonest PC government thugs allow. Kill as many as you can real conservationists. The wolf population is irresponsibly & dangerously out of control. Wolf jackets ROCK!!

I guess threatening the president and being a convicted poacher are not enough for this pant crapping blowhard. He still apparently does not understand that poaching is against the law. Your 15 minutes of fame ended about 40 years ago, Ted. We are still ready to take you up on your offer, or did…

Don’t feed the ducks!

Endangered Living

We’ve all been to the park and watched people pull that plastic bag of old bread out of their purse and start throwing pieces to the ducks, swans, geese or what-have-you. Maybe you have been the person feeding those lovely little waterfowl. But is that really the wisest decision?

Friday Oct 17, 2014, 15:33 (Update: 17-10-14, 15:46)

At the home of a police officer more than sixty animals have been found. They were in unsuitable pens and cages. The man kept at his home in Schimmert in Limburg province inter alia tawny owls, a turtle, otters, exotic squirrels, rabbits and mice.

A veterinarian examined the animals in the house. Then they were seized and brought to shelters.

The police officer has not been arrested. There is however an internal investigation about him. He kept the animals in his own words as a hobby.

The article exposes that Mazor farm is trying to ship 300 monkeys to laboratories in the US, possibly via local monkey traders. There is even a concern that the monkeys are in fact destined to a breeding farm that Mazor farm itself is involved in its establishment. The export request is now waiting for the decision of the Israeli Attorney General, the Minister of Environmental Protection and the General Manager of the Israeli Nature and Parks Authority.

We would therefore ask you to urgently copy the following letter or similarly write your own and send…

President Obama Destroys Conservative Fearmongering By Hugging And Kissing Nurses Who Treated Ebola Patients (VIDEO)

Someday his arrogance is going to bite him in the ass.

The Fifth Column

I’m not sure that I agree with the above headline.  This will only feed into the fear-mongers’ playbook…

Addicting Info

In a move that should shut conservatives up once and for all about the threat the Ebola virus poses to the American public, President Obama told his cabinet and reporters that he had physical contact with nurses who treated Ebola patients in Atlanta and “felt perfectly safe doing so.”

During a Wednesday meeting with his cabinet officials, President Obama took the time to relay a personal story to reporters in an effort to calm the American people about the dangers of Ebola.

President Obama revealed that when he visited Emory University Hospital in Atlanta last month to meet with the medical personnel who were treating three American volunteers who themselves contracted the virus while treating patients in Africa, he “shook hands with, hugged, and kissed” the nurses who helped care for…

Old MacDonald’s Factory Farm: A Look Into Who’s Behind the World of Big Ag | One Green Planet

Life or Lunch?

6624374437_0b271bd96f_b-1200x747The animal agriculture industry goes to great lengths to convince the public that farmed animals are raised on lush green pastures owned and operated by family farmers. From their deceptive product packaging to the hundreds of television advertisements they run every year, the animal agriculture industry desperately wants to perpetuate the myth of a benevolent Old MacDonald and his small farm of happy and healthy animals.

The reality is that a handful of extraordinarily powerful corporations own and control the entire industry, and often team up with influential trade and lobby organizations and even government agencies to shape the market to their benefit. Their tool of choice is the efficient but cruel factory farm, a far cry from familiar Old MacDonald’s farm.

Here’s a look at the major players that give “Big Ag” its well-deserved name.

CIA Plotting Flight #MH370 Bio-Attack During FSU vs. Notre Dame Game on OCT 18, 2014

Satu Insan - Malaysia

by David Chase Taylor

Flight MH370in Pakistan

The mysterious and unprecedented disappearance of Flight MH370 on March 8, 2014, occurred just 35 days after the nuclear terror attack on New York City during Super Bowl XLVIII was foiled by Truther.org. Since then, numerous reports have linked its disappearance to the nuclear country of Pakistan which is the alleged home of the Taliban. The first report that Malaysian Airlines Flight MH 370 was hijacked by Pakistan was revealed in an ominous Tweet by Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch on March 14, 2014, just 6 days after the flight disappeared: “World seems transfixed by 777 disappearance. Maybe no crash but stolen, effectively hidden, perhaps in Northern Pakistan, like Bin Laden.” Murdoch, a Zionist operative, was evidently instructed to foreshadow the notion that Pakistan was responsible. Two days later on March 16, 2014, it was reported that Malaysian authorities were…
